Catch Me If You Can
Catch Me If You Can is an American movie released in 2002. The director is Steven Spielberg, and the main character is Leonardo DiCaprio. The film won an Academy Award in 2003. Global box office revenue has exceeded $ 350 million. The genre is comedy and the sub-genre is human drama. This movie is based on Frank Abagnale's autobiographical novel.
In New York, in the 1960s, high school student Frank leaves home when he learns of his parents' sudden divorce. Eventually, he is in trouble over money and he starts doing "check fraud". He also pretend to be a high-status profession such as a pilot, lawyer, or doctor. And he stole millions of dollars, but was chased by FBI agent Hanrati. Tom Hanks plays the FBI agent.
I was surprised to learn that this movie was based on a true story. The interaction between Frank and Karl was very interesting. It was very thrilling to see Frank cleverly scamming through the investigation. Although the main character is a criminal, I cheered Frank and couldn't hate him. And the emotions that sprout between Frank and Karl made my heart warm.
